Ohio and Kentucky

I have family in Southern Ohio and Northern Kentucky and, to get to Cincinnati, you actually fly into Northern Kentucky and then you must cross the Ohio River to get into Ohio. The problem with visiting family is that you aren’t there to visit the sights. My first time in Cincinnati was on the midwest road trip to see my uncle and my newest cousin. My second trip was to go to my cousin’s wedding in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky. I loved all of the brick buildings I saw in Kentucky and I enjoyed seeing the Ohio River with my dad from someone’s backyard..

I also remember seeing so many horses and rolling green hills of bluegrass. No wonder its motto is Kentucky Unbridled Spirit and is The Bluegrass State.

Meanwhile, Ohio is The Buckeye State for the prevalent Buckeye trees in the area, for which I recall seeing none. What a shame!
