There are two major tourist areas in Mass: the Boston area and Cape Cod. (I’m not including Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard here) After visiting Rhode Island, my friend and I drove to Provincetown, the very tip of the Cape, which is part of Massachusetts. We climbed up all the stairs of the Pilgrim Monument, which provided great views of the water and surrounding areas. Massachusetts is The Bay State, named after its 5 bays, one of which is Cape Cod Bay.

My second trip to Massachusetts was when I was 8 months pregnant. We went to Boston, visiting the Boston Tea Party ship and Museum and taking a trolley around to see all the major sites.

There is a lot of Revolutionary history here. Less than an hour away is Salem, home of the famous witch trials. A visit to the museum is worth your time.
