New Hampshire and Vermont for Outdoor Activities

New Hampshire

The Granite State was easily named after its granite formations and quarries. It is filled with small towns and cute little lakes. It is quite green and has a nice outdoorsy vibe. There are lakes for waterskiing and plenty of hiking trails. I’ve only visited friends in the state and never did anything touristy.

Vermont

Vermont is my favorite state to ski in the Northeast USA. We had enough points to stay at the Equinox Resort, a short drive from Bromley Mountain. Bromley is one of the best family mountains I have skied. It isn’t crowded, has a small town feel and has just enough runs. It is called The Green Mountain State for the Green Mountains, a mountain range that run north to south. Vermont is home to Ben & Jerry’s and is also the largest producer of maple syrup in the country.

I’m ashamed to admit, I have no great pictures of either state.
